These vehicles highlight the pinnacles of engineering excellence, styling, and technology in the era they were produced. |

Category 2 -- Brass Era
This class includes vehicles built prior to January 1, 1916 as recognized by the Horseless Carriage Club of America and reflecting the automobile's earliest years. |

Category 10 -- Special Celebration - "Evolution of the Tailfin"
GM stylist Harley Earl is credited with this styling craze first appearing on the 1948 Cadillac and inspired by P-38 lightning
aircraft. Taken to the extremes by Virgil Exner, Dave Holls and other greats, this stylistic element lost favor with the buying public
in the mid-1960's. These vehicles best exemplify this time of stylistic excess. |
